[Office 2008 for Mac] การแก้ปัญหาการแสดง font ที่ผิดปรกติหลังจากเพิ่งติดตั้งลงบนเครื่อง

ผมไปอ่านเจอบทความใน support ของ microsoft มา เลยคิดว่าน่าจะเอามาเผยแพร่ต่อ เพราะคิดว่า อาจจะมีหลายคนที่ยังไม่ทราบ

วิธีนี้หลัก ๆ จะเป็นการแก้ปัญหาการแสดงผลของ font ที่ผิดปรกติหลังจากติดตั้ง Office 2008 for mac ใหม่ ๆ ครับ ทาง microsoft ระบุเอาไว้แบบนี้

When you install Office 2008, some of the fonts on your computer are replaced by new versions. If another application is running while you install Office 2008, the fonts in that application might not display correctly until you quit and then restart the application. If quitting and restarting the application does not resolve the issue, restart the computer.

ประมาณว่า การติดตั้ง Office 2008 for mac จะมีการติดตั้ง font ชุดใหม่ลงบนเครื่อง ถ้าคุณติดตั้ง Office 2008 for mac ขณะที่ยังเปิดโปรแกรมบางตัวอยู่และโปรแกรมนั้นใช้ font ชุดเดียวกับที่ Office 2008 for mac ลงใหม่ทับให้ไป .. โปรแกรมนั้นจะแสดงผลเพี้ยนครับ

วิธีแก้คือ ออก แล้ว restart โปรแกรมนั้นใหม่ ถ้ายังไม่หาย ให้ restart เครื่องครับ

พวก font ชุดเดิมที่ซ้ำซ้อนกับ font ชุดใหม่ของ ms office 2008 for mac ที่เค้าลงมาให้ตอน install .. font ชุดเดิมพวกนี้จะถูกย้ายไปไว้ที่

Root_folder/Library/Fonts Disabled

สำหรับ font ชุดใหม่ที่ถูกติดตั้งมาให้ตอน install จะอยู่ที่

Root_drive/Library/Fonts/Microsoft
